The history of Micro-Lite, LLC is associated with a unique mineral deposit located in Southeast Kansas near the town of Buffalo. This non-metallic mineral originally found its way to just under the surface of the earth in the form of molten magma. There it slowly cooled and crystallized into a substance abundant with trace minerals, the major elements being Magnesium, Iron and Potassium. Its physical structure consists of microscopic, layered crystal sheets, which separate after long exposure to atmospheric conditions. Consequently, after millions of years the hardened magma "weathered" and produced several million tons of sand-like material, which we mine and process today.

Micro-Lite, LLC is committed to improving the business of its customers by providing a quality product that meets their needs at an affordable price.
